USAGE AREAS
Profiled Belts (Chevron Belts) are used to transport bulk materials on right angle conveyors. They are designed by KALE with different designs and sizes depending on the material to be transported. They are designed and manufactured to prevent the transported bulk materials from sliding down from the conveyor lines.
PROFILED PATTERN TYPES:
RUBBER SHEETS
Rubber-based rubber sheet is a flexible material that is vulcanized from the combination of natural rubber, synthetic rubber and special chemical mixtures, used in the construction of gaskets, which are interconnected and sealed between the surfaces of two compressed parts. Its resistance can be increased even more by putting carcass material inside for some special purposes.
RUBBER SHEET WITH OR WITHOUT FABRIC
They are produced in various thicknessses from 1 mm to 25 mm. They are used in floorings, water and sewage piping gaskets, sealing elements, gasket requirements, places requiring isolation and insulation and wherever which is relevant. Standard production is at 1000 mm width x 2000 mm length dimensions, altough customized dimensions can be produced when required
NEOPRENE RUBBER SHEET
Abrasion value is less then the other rubber sheets. Its greatest property is flame resistance. It is resistant to petroleum based oils, sunray, ozone and oxygen.
NITRILE RUBBER SHEET
Nitrile rubber sheet is highly resistant to oil and petroleum derivatives. It is durable to 200 kg / cm2 pressure with normal formulation. It can elongate by 370%. It has high resistance to friction. It is not easy to tear. It can be easily used at temperatures between -15 ° C and 110 ° C. This temperature can be increased up to 130 ° C using special formulas.
EPDM RUBBER SHEET
It is used in environments where hot materials are used. They are resistant to temperatures from – 50°c to 160°c. It has high resistance to acid, oxygen and water.
DIELECTRIC RUBBER SHEET (DIELECTRIC INSULATION RUBBER MAT)
Die-electric Rubber Shhets have electrical insulation beside their essential feature of abrasion resistance. Although dielectric sheets are mainly produced for 15.000 volts in 3 mm and 30.000 volts in 5 mm thickness, but according to requirement s they can also be produced resistant to higher volts. Die-lectric Rubber Sheets are produced and tested in accordance with TS EN 61111 standards. They are used in power plants, transformer centers, and all kind of working environments with low or high voltage
ELEVATOR BELTS
Transmission / Elevator Belts
Flat belts on which elevator buckets are attached are produced with a special technique and are called elevator belts. These belts are produced with a different system than conveyor belts. Unlike conveyor belts, these belts usually do not have a rubber coating. For this reason, the carcass material used is very special.
Since the holes opened to connect buckets on the elevator belts will decrease the resistance the of the belt, the belts are produced by calculating the resistance according to the length of the belt.
SIDE SKIRTS (SKIRTING RUBBER)
Side Skirts are produced to prevent materials from going out of conveyor line and keep them onto the belt line. Side skirt is a rubber material, produced with special design to close the conveyor line edges. They are produced at various thicknesses, width and lengths as requested by customers.
The use of side skirts on conveyor lines prevents premature wear of the conveyor belt and contributes to the longer life of the belt.
